Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and emotional well-being of students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive psychological services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess students' cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Work with students who have developmental disabilities or special needs
- Provide individual and group counseling to address behavioral and emotional concerns
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed
- Conduct assessments for eligibility determination for special education services
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to provide counseling and support to students and their families
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Note: All positions at our organization are paid positions, including internships.
